To Lie Or To Tell The Truth

What’s better…

…to lie and avoid causing discomfort or unhappiness to the other person?

or…

…to tell the truth and risk hurting the other person?

In my view, we should never hide the truth with the person who loves you and know better about you. "Honesty is the best policy". If you are honest you never need to worry that may cause discomfort. If the person is so close and can understand you better so there will not be any question of pain. Sure there would be a bitter day or days during to digest the truth but slowly it will wipe off the discomfort.

When there is no understanding, you have to hide the truth and make the situations to make the person understand about the truth. It will take sometime but make a peaceful solution to the situation.

We too must think about what happens when we don’t tell the truth. When we keep our thoughts and feelings hidden. What good does it do for the other person? In the short term, it may spare them some time away from hurt. But in the end, the truth will always surface. And by then, the pain brought upon the other person could be much, much worse.

There are times, you need to hide some things for time being with the person. According to the situations, we feel to hide it and want to confess about it later. And the truth should be always disclosed by you if it is important and related to you. And never give the chance to others to tell the truth in a wrong way. So be clear in your views and thoughts with the person you love and trust. You dont need to explain whole world about you, because when you are honest and truthful then all others will automatically come to know the truth.

If you want to share the happiness by hiding then definately go ahead to keep them secret and give a sweet and memorable surprises. Surprises will make so happy to feel about it and people will never forget them. So happy things can always be shared by keeping them secret for sometime.
